It was a hot summer day in the Alps in Austria. As the evening was settling, suddenly the sky was getting darker and darker and the village was in the heart of a powerfull thunderstorm. The sparks of plasma were lighting up the scene in beautiful purplish glow.

A nature photographer interested in the little details of wildlife, always getting upclose to investigate. However, sometimes colours stand in the way. Then I take one of my film cameras and let the shades of gray tell the story of light and shadow. A scientist by training and an artist in my free time, I combine both worlds to express my vision. I am based in Southern Finland and enjoy the variety and beauty of nature around me. I get my inspiration from my outdoor trips but also try to push my creative limits with still life.
