I woke up early and checking the weather I noticed that it is unusually warm for the end of September. I headed out with my camera towards the nearby field and found beautiful oats waiting to be harvested. The rising sun was nicely shining from behind the trees and created this feeling of warmth.
A nature photographer interested in the little details of wildlife, always getting upclose to investigate. However, sometimes colours stand in the way. Then I take one of my film cameras and let the shades of gray tell the story of light and shadow. A scientist by training and an artist in my free time, I combine both worlds to express my vision. I am based in Southern Finland and enjoy the variety and beauty of nature around me. I get my inspiration from my outdoor trips but also try to push my creative limits with still life.
